Her father played her in the film, Doc (2001), in the initial part of the film. Tim Burton's Big Fish (2003), where she starred in an unimportant role, was also a success. Cyrus performed the role of Hannah Montana on Hannah Montana (2007), a Disney television series that follows the life of a girl who has a double existence as an actress. Again, her father joined her on screen. The show went down a storm and hit records tour sell-outs and merchandising deals soon came. Cyrus became an overnight teen phenomenon. Cyrus shifted into new roles following the fame and popularity that came from Hannah Montana 2006. She appeared as Ronnie Miller, alongside Demi the Mood, as Demi Mood in The Last Song in 2010 and Lola alongside Demi in LOL in 2012.
